The Kalymnian Union of Athens was founded in 1936 by people from the island of Kalymnos (located on the south-eastern edge of the Aegean, in the Dodecanese island complex) living in Athens, Greece. The Union aims to promote the cultural heritage of the Kalymnos island, both within Greece and abroad.

Founded in 2010 in Melbourne, Australia, the folklore ensemble The Lost Clog brings together ten Lithuanian singers to breathe new life into archaic Lithuanian songs.
Their repertoire is a tongue-in-cheek celebration of Lithuanian folk songs and the incidental humour arising from literal translations into English which is done sometimes.
The Egyptian folk dance group is under the supervision of Egyptian Ministry of Culture and has participated in many national and international events. The group consists of 30 dancers and musicians.
